Woman forgets 7-month-old Baby | Toledo Ohio Child Injury Lawyer
Police have charged 24-year-old Kelly Gonzales with endangering the welfare of a minor.According to reports, she drove away from a liquor store, leaving her baby in a shopping cart outside.
A customer found the 7-month-old girl a few minutes later and called the police. The baby had been outside for about 10 minutes in chilly weather.
Reports continued to say, Gonzales went to the store with the baby, her 2 year old, and a friend. When they left the store Gonzales forgot her 7 month old.
Once she realized her mistake roughly 45 minutes later, she returned to the store, where she was arrested.
The baby did not require medical attention. Social services have taken custody of all four of Gonzales' children.
