Woman Charged with Child Neglect | Toledo Ohio Child Injury Lawyer
32-year-old Chandra Greene was charged with three counts of neglect of her son.According to reports, court records say a child welfare caseworker went to Green's residence to investigate after she received a tip that the middle school-age boy had been hit with a hammer.
When she arrived at the home, she found the boy with a head injury, the home dirty and without power.
It was reported that the boy told police at a hospital, his mother had struck him with a hammer on his leg, arm, head and between his eyes.
The boy's sister was also reported telling police his brother told her "he got a whooping because he ate all of his mom's food.
