Willard girl, 12, injured in wreck | Toledo, Ohio Child Accident Attorney
A Willard girl was injured after a three-vehicle accident on East U.S. 224 near Attica.The 2001 Chevrolet Venture driven by Larry J. Welter was hit in the rear by the 2006 Hyundai Sonata driven by Erin Flanagan. Flanagan was westbound when she failed to maintain assured clear distance and hit Welter's minivan.
After that collision, Welter hit the car in front of him, a 2007 Chevrolet Impala.
The collision happened on Friday near Township Road 197. Welter and the unspecified driver of the Impala were slowing at the time to allow a motorcycle to turn.
Welter's passenger, Hannah E. Welter, 12, was transported by relatives to Fisher-Titus Medical Center with minor injuries. Willard EMS transported Flanagan, who was charged with failure to maintain assured clear distance, to Willard Mercy Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
