1. NEVER allow a child to ride in a car without a seatbelt. Not only can they injure themselves by being thrown against doors or the seats in front of them, but they can also injure others if the impact from a crash causes them to fall on other passengers.
2. Only one person per seatbelt.
3. Car seats will only work if they are propery strapped in.
4. Never put a child under 12 years old in the front seat. Airbags deploy very quickly and can injury a child in the event of an accident.
5. Never put an infant and their car seat in the front seat.
6. Infants should always ride in the rear middle seat, with their car seat facing backwards.
7. Infants should face the rear until they are one year old and at least 20 pounds.
8. All children should ride in a car seat or booster seat until they are 4'7" or 60 pounds.
