Mother Sentenced to Life for Killing two Children | Toledo Ohio Child Injury Lawyer
A judge sentenced Sharon Hinojosa to life in prison Wednesday for setting a fire that trapped and killed two of her children, 4-year-old Anthony and 3-year-old Alayna in a mobile home in 2009.
She said the event in Huron Township was an accident. But prosecutors accused her of setting the fire in a bid to improve her relationship with a boyfriend, the father of another child who escaped the blaze in Hinojosa's arms.
She was convicted of first-degree murder.
