Man charged in causing school bus accident | Toledo Ohio child injury attorney
A man has been arrested and charged with a DUI for causing an accident on Tuesday morning. The accident occurred when William Churchill McCarty, 50, crossed the center line while driving his pickup truck and hit a school bus at about 8 a.m.When police arrived on the scene it was apparent the Mr. McCarty was under the influence. One witness stated that he had called 911 about the vehicle and was following him so that he could tell the authorities his location.
The driver of the scool bus and a child were both injured in the accident. They were treated for their injuries and released from the hospital.
