A child was struck by a vehicle this morning while crossing at a crosswalk on his way to school. The authorities have reported that the child was in the middle lane when he was struck by a car. The driver slwoed down, but never stopped to help. Police are currently looking for the driver of the vehicle.The unidentified child was taken to a local hospital for treatment of the injuries sustained. They are believed to be minor.
